Neurology Clinic & Neurophysiology Laboratory

The Neurology Clinic of the “Agia Sophia” Children’s Hospital is the only paediatric neurology department in Greece that provides one (1) year of specialty training in Neurology, with four (4) established resident positions. The Department is on call every other day, covering all emergency paediatric neurology cases.

Neurology Clinic

Hospitalisation of children with emergency neurological conditions, epileptic syndromes, neurodevelopmental, neurometabolic and neurodegenerative diseases.

Neurophysiology Laboratory

(Electrophysiological / Electroencephalography)

Daily performance of EEGs for outpatients and inpatients, coverage of emergency cases, as well as newborns in the Hospital’s NICUs and at “Alexandra” General Hospital of Athens.
