The Medical Services Directorate is the central scientific and administrative pillar coordinating the medical work of "Agia Sofia" Children's Hospital. It is responsible for the smooth operation of the Clinics and Departments, ensuring the quality and safety of the provided healthcare services, and the implementation of national and European legislation governing hospital care.
Its responsibilities include the scientific coordination of medical activities, supervision of the training and continuing education of medical staff, promotion of research and innovation, as well as participation in the strategic development planning of the Hospital.
