1st & 2nd Surgical Clinic
The 1st and 2nd Surgical Departments of the “Agia Sophia” Children’s Hospital provide specialised paediatric surgical care, covering the full spectrum of surgical conditions in newborns, infants, children and adolescents.
The Department is one of the few in Greece that applies modern minimally invasive surgical techniques, including laparoscopic, thoracoscopic, endoscopic and percutaneous techniques, in both scheduled and emergency cases.
It has specialised expertise in paediatric surgical oncology and operates as a referral centre for complex and complicated cases. It provides full specialty training in Paediatric Surgery, offers educational courses and receives students.

Regular Outpatient Clinics
They are held on days and at times announced through 1566 and the online platform. The days are adjusted according to the General On-Call Duty schedule.
♡ Children with any paediatric surgical problem are seen, except for emergencies, which are examined in the Emergency Department.
Afternoon Clinics
For the convenience of families who are unable to attend during morning hours.
