The Housekeeping and Linen Services Department of the Children's Hospital "Agia Sofia" is responsible for cleaning, the smooth operation, and the safety of the hospital's premises, as well as for managing staff uniforms and attire. It ensures hygiene, appearance, and the safe functioning of the hospital, significantly contributing to the quality of healthcare services.
Responsibilities
Ensuring the cleaning, tidiness, and proper appearance of all hospital premises.
Responsibility for general tasks and transportation within and outside the hospital.
Ensuring the safety of staff, visitors, and hospitalized patients.
Safeguarding the hospital buildings and equipment.
Ensuring the availability and maintenance of the linen required for all hospital needs.
Management, cleaning, maintenance, and replacement of linen, staff uniforms, and bedding.
Storage, repair, and distribution of linen.
Responsibility for the operation of the hospital’s telephone switchboard.
