The Operating Theatre Department is staffed by specialized nursing personnel and provides services to patients who require surgical intervention.

It is equipped with advanced medical technology to ensure the quality of the services provided, with a focus on safety and effectiveness.

Surgical procedures and interventional procedures are performed in the following specialties:

1. 1 Preoperative assessment of children scheduled to undergo procedures and provision of information regarding the process.
2. 2 Administration of anesthesia and intraoperative monitoring of the patient.
3. 3 Operation of the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit, where patients are monitored by nursing staff following emergence from anesthesia.
4. 4 Development of an individualized postoperative analgesia plan, implemented by the clinical departments in collaboration with the nurse responsible for the Pain Clinic.
5. 5 Operation of the Pain Clinic for the management of acute and chronic pain.

   Administration of anesthesia for elective and emergency procedures in the following specialties:

   Administration of anesthesia or sedation outside the operating theatre:

   DAY CARE UNIT HEMODYNAMICS LABORATORY MRI UNIT CT UNIT AUDIOLOGY DEPARTMENT NUCLEAR MEDICINE DEPARTMENT
8. 8 Patient transfer and administration of anesthesia outside the hospital, including at adult hospitals when required, such as for interventional radiology procedures.
9. 9 Management and perioperative care of complex cases, including cardiac surgery, scoliosis, extreme prematurity, critically ill patients hospitalized in pediatric or neonatal units, patients with rare syndromes, and patients with hematological and other malignancies.
10. 10 Placement of peripheral and central venous lines in patients for whom venous access is difficult to establish.
11. 11 Management of the difficult airway.
