Purpose and Activity of the Department
The T.E.P. operates in a fully renovated space, as a cross-departmental unit, and provides services to all patients during the hospital's on-call days and hours.
- The management of cases is based on severity, following assessment through the Triage/Sorting system.
- Assessment is carried out by on-call doctors and nurses, taking into account referrals from external colleagues.

- Pediatric Emergency Department
- Pediatric Surgery Emergency Department
- Pediatric Orthopedic Emergency Department
- ENT
- Ophthalmology
- Child Psychiatry
with support from all other specialties, as required.

Educational Activities
- The department provides training to resident doctors from all departments of the Hospital.
- It also provides training to nurses of various levels, as well as medical and nursing students.
